I am. And I fly in and out of OAK regularly. This is and was a bad location. I don’t stop my car in that area except as required legally. Not all of Oakland is like this area, but let’s not pretend it wasn’t at least blight adjacent if not centrally located.

And Oakland is trying to figure out how to save money… And cutting the PD is part of the proposal. And the mayor… And… And… It’s a problem and Oakland needs help. But let’s not pretend it’s not suffering.
