The Game Awards did, technically, give out awards, but it's often insulting the creators it's claiming to honor by sidelining them for celebrities and ads.

    They were SO scared of acceptance speeches, it felt like people got less than 30 seconds to give their bit before the music started.

      I think I read somewhere that, that is exactly how much time they were given. And I think it was like 1.5hrs of ads/trailers. DYOR though.
