Because once you actually start looking into gender and realise its a social construct, you subconsciously start transvestigating people all around you and assuming they are trans (for actions/thoughts/feelings that are normal for heteros)
ehh, the transvestigators are too obsessed with tracking all the ways in which every single cis person ever is actually trans to pose much of a danger to us. the politicians and klan types who aren’t obsessive scare me more. the ones who are incidentally transphobic wind up doing way more violence.
