It was a couple of decades ago, somewhere in California, while I was serving on the Stake High Council, my mistaken president would often, during high council meetings, admonish us in various righteous behaviors that we should aspire to live. More than once he gave an example of his uber commitment to the proper wearing of the holy temple underwear.

He claimed that the only time he ever “took off his garments” was to shower. He would take them off just before stepping into the shower, and then leave a (presumably clean) pair on a chair just outside the shower that he would immediately put on after toweling dry. He would wear them at all other times, even to swim. I saw him at a youth swimming activity one time and he was wearing some sort of full body swimming suit with ankle to wrist coverage.

He didn’t say whether he or his wife had ever seen the other one nekkid, but wondering minds were silently wandering in their imaginations about that. The spirit was strong during those meetings.
