Bit idea: start prefixing every major historical event with “the first”. e.g. “The first 9/11” “the first capitol insurrection” “the first COVID pandemic.” That way history books will be ready when they happen again.

I also feel like I learned unnecessary information about British royalty that I normally try to avoid because I confused Henry V with Edward V. But in fairness to myself, fuck the Brits.
