It’s bourgeois decadence, but i like the “larger than life” design/construction projects. A light up sphere is neat by it’s own merits
I agree. The people of Las Vegas should take ownership of the Sphere, and use it for… i dunno, proletarian things.
I like these megaprojects from the technical problem solving side of things. It’s fun to learn that they had to develop new ways of doing things to meet unique constraints, which might be useful later. A bit like the space program
