        For now, we’re special.

        LLMs are far more training data-intensive, hardware-intensive, and energy-intensive than a human brain. They’re still very much a brute-force method of getting computers to work with language.

      Is there a legal differential, here?

      What if I read the book aloud into a speech to text program? That’s an algorithm consuming data and producing a result, with a human doing the reading.
