Agreed. Heroic works pretty well, but it would be nice to have native GOG Galaxy.
Honestly, I would be ok if they would just start funding Heroic (or the GOG client it uses) directly.
I’ve heard in the past that they did but I haven’t checked myself.
I know that if you buy a GOG game through Heroic, they get some money.
Indeed and also id like to see some missing native versions that already are on steam.
They’ve actually started work on GOG GALAXY for Linux (source: gamingonlinux.com/2026/07/gog-confirm-they-are-working-towards-gog-galaxy-on-linux). Hopefully, this news means they’ll be releasing it as a beta version, or that they’re actually ready to release it as a full version.
I hope they do a better job than epic on their gog galaxy for linux.
