Reformation makes several erroneous assumptions on transphobes’ capacities, will, and reparative moral. Just like there’s a Great Filter for intelligent life, Reformation needles less Reformation, and more perverse incentives. You can’t expect a Machiavellian to reform as much as an antisocial to reorder their traumas. Sadism can be mitigated, but not “cured.” Dark empaths are sadly irreformable.
