What the actual fuck. No. Does this writer ever even ride a bike? Those brakes are awful! They need constant adjustment to prevent them rubbing against the rim, they wear out fast, and they don’t work nearly as well. Disc brakes are longer lasting, the do the job better and most importantly they stay put.

    Grow up.

Also, rim brakes make the wheel into a consumable.

I still brake by putting my stick leg through the spokes. Works like a charm every time. No need to change what is already perfect.

There’s now even a term for it: underbiking

Fuck off with your stupid trends. Not everything people do needs a name and subreddit. “Many people shit twice a day now. There’s even a term for that: overshitting”.

He lists all the reasons why disc brakes got popular (carbon wheels, complex frames) and then says that no one asked for them. WTF?
