(I realized this may be taken out of context, so what I mean is- there are actually people that will think this is a good enough reason to not vote, while simultaneously defining the concept of both sides being the same: MAGA and non-voters being the sides).
I have found the “both sides” finger-pointing is just as harmful. Many times it’s used to squash or impede honest discussion. It’s an online tactic to shut down constructive criticism of one’s own political party. Neither the Democratic Party or Republican Party are infallible. Both do have faults and some of those faults intersect in a Venn diagram. With that said, as an Independent of about three decades MAGA has essentially turned me into a full-blown Democratic voter.
It absolutely IS clear evidence of the superiority of my arguments. Thank you for noticing. It’s also clear evidence of my inability to maintain the patience required to debate with ignorance.
We’re too late in the game bud. There’s no time to console the pitcher with hugs and positivity. It’s time to win the game or go home.
To not vote or to vote MAGA, the; outcome will be the same.
And the world will suffer for it.

No one said there infallible. But they’re nowhere near the same. And suggesting they are is what impedes honest discussion.
Yes, one is evil and scummy and will let their citizens die in favour of the rich, and the other is the same + incredible levels of stupidity and hate
