…do you think that when the French people protested and rioted to gain all of those concessions, you know, before they got the state funded healthcare, childcare, etc etc… that losing their jobs didn’t have exactly the same fucking effect on them? Are you capable of any kind of basic fucking reasoning? Literally the core point of the post is that, in the past, the French did the things we are seeing now specifically to gain the things Rob Schneider is whining about, the social safety net, and you are saying that you can’t afford to do what France did to get their safety net… Because France has a safety net and you don’t.

    FFS.

France is smarter… they chose universal healthcare. The US chose guns and death. It’ll work itself out, eventually.

what, by refusing to do anything but vote?

Sure, I guess when they get the AIs to the point you aren’t needed anymore it will work itself out as America engulfs the world in nuclear hellfire. You guys are extremely silly.

while the yankoid brainpan is indeed incapable of conceiving a society of mutual benefit, unfortunately you have proven that you are similarly incapable

france has too many republics for me to keep straight, but yes, actually the consequences were less catastrophic when healthcare was bloodletting and leeches or when you could get a job with a firm handshake and some eyecontact, or when marshall plan money was propping things up.
