They’re a Google Docs alternative with a freemium business model. Important features offered for free with some nice bonuses if you pay. The pay options are interesting: $100 gets you a lifetime license, $60 a year or $6 a month gets you a lifetime license and it’s yours after 2 years of payments ($120 or $144). As in, it’s a subscription but a timed one. I pay monthly but after 2 years they’ll stop charging me. I’m doing it that way because one, I won’t miss $6 a month taken out right after I get paid and two, I believe in their cause and position on AI and their business model.
