So im watching sg1 in order but want to bring to interweave atlantis at the appropriate moment. What season episode should I start watching atlantis episodes. As an aside just finished the season 2 finale, season 3 premeire and wow. It starts as a boring clip show and ends in like the most amazing bringing together of various aspects of the show.
There are a few different choices for watch order.

I don’t agree with watching all the Kino webisodes in a row. It makes more sense to me to intersperse them after key episodes. This forum post explores the topic: https://forum.gateworld.net/stargate-universe/82556-quick-question-on-sgu-kino-viewing-order?t=80265
this is exactly the in depth kind of thing I figured somone would know. thanks. going to go canon route and once I get to sgu I will see if I can intersperce the webisodes.
Atlantis story line basically starts after SG1 S07E01 I believe
oh wow. thats pretty far down. have at least a few weeks :)
The seasons get better imo. Enjoy!

You can pretty much just throw all of SG-1 and Atlantis into a single playlist ordered by airdate. They’ll interleaf and connect narratively in an organic way because they aired together and that was the only real intended ordering.
