    LOL… looks like I misspelled it. If you’re a fan of Star Trek TOS, or honestly most vintage Scifi it’s the warbeling noise you hear in the soundtrack.

    A type of synth that you played by moving your hands in relation to a metal antenna.

      While the Theremin was a mainstay of many sci-fi shows and movies, Star Trek never actually used one.

        TIL… At least it was widely if incorrectly reported so I don’t feel like a complete moron.

        I swear at one point I even heard it was preformed by Roddenbery’s wife.

            One article also mentioned an electric violin so maybe that… but honestly listening to the theme music it just didn’t sound like I remember.
