Only in places that are as car centric as the US. I get to work by train. Plenty of people living in bigger cities with decent public transport in Europe or Asia have no need for a driver’s license

I’m from Vancouver, I never got a license until I had collected so many tools in my standard kit that I was struggling getting from site to site. Carrying 40kg up big stupid hills was the breaking point.

Stupid dumb hills. Could be smaller and smarter but no0o0oo. Lol I live in a super hilly town and I feel your pain. I love my hill except when I hate it.

Valid. Could also get an electric cargo bike, but infrastructure for thas doesn’t exist most places.
