There’s been quite a few others but this one was the first and best. Back in the 90s there was a book published (I had a copy once) that gave exact instructions for ordering a burger at Maccas and other everyday contemporary tasks - in Latin. Can’t find it now more’s the pity.
still a bit tired and achy, headachy/fevery, i wonder if it’s flu but because I’m vaccinated it’s very mild
also, duolingo is annoying because it doesn’t explain principles and rules, just gives exercises
This might be a fun way to practice that isn’t an ‘exercise’ as such. Freely available online.
aw, I love it 🥰

I’m still very much a beginner , I might be able to read Insili Patri
That looks awesome 👍 thank you 😘
The third one is especially rude
it’s on the list 😊
The burger line:
Da mihi sis bubulae frustum assae, solans tuberosa in modo Gallico fricta, ac quassum lactatum coagulatum crassum.
AutoDuck did not like that at all.
I could read a lot of that …lol
Have you come across Henry Beard? His Latin phrase books are hilarious.
