Few days off so made it back down the beach for more weeding.

Found this bad bwoy last time amongst the weeds and gave it some tlc, looks like new growth! Thing would be 20+ years old. Supposed to get to 2m+ which would look great if it did. Dug it out chucked it in a pot and hoping for the best.

Leptospurmum ‘aphrodite’ aka the tea tree of luuuuurve. Never planted it so no idea where it came from:

I’ve just come back from the gym and am not currently allowed to go home.

Someone threw themselves off a balcony across the street. It’s…not looking great

That’s awful :( I’m so sad for the person that felt driven to do that, but I also hope you can get home soon.

As part of my work I am constantly building servers. Naming convention I use is a 3-4-4 shorthand of CHAIN-SITE-MYWORK identifiers.

…The stars have aligned, I just created a MILF

Apparently being seated for a long time increases blood pressure to the uterus , so more cramps, more loss

this is why I used to time my air travel carefully

Daylight savings strikes again. The automatic door to my workplace is still set on god’s time, not AEDST. Fortunately the boss rocked up 10 mins ago and let me in. The one time an app actually makes sense to control the timing …

The dried fruit and apricot slice/bite things are waaaaaay better from Aldi than from colesworth, by light-years.

Also, Aldi has dried mango slices, which is the superior dried fruit and less messy than a fresh mango.

People I used to work with got dried mango and put it in vodka and let it infuse (not sure how long for, like a couple of weeks?) reckoned it was yummy. Also did it with dried paw paw.

still a bit tired and achy, headachy/fevery, i wonder if it’s flu but because I’m vaccinated it’s very mild

also, duolingo is annoying because it doesn’t explain principles and rules, just gives exercises

This might be a fun way to practice that isn’t an ‘exercise’ as such. Freely available online.

There’s been quite a few others but this one was the first and best. Back in the 90s there was a book published (I had a copy once) that gave exact instructions for ordering a burger at Maccas and other everyday contemporary tasks - in Latin. Can’t find it now more’s the pity.

            The burger line:

Da mihi sis bubulae frustum assae, solans tuberosa in modo Gallico fricta, ac quassum lactatum coagulatum crassum.

AutoDuck did not like that at all.
