College exams are matter of life-or-death, it’s the only ticket to a good life you will ever get, the spots are limited, and you are either pride or disgrace of the family depending on your academic excellence. And you are competing with thousands of other kids who are also pressured to excel.

I would probably kill myself if I was pressured so much to compete with fellow humans as a kid, honestly.
