This took me so long to understand. Things generally don’t look different to me in different orientations and this was no different. I eventually got it by just holding my phone really far out and squinting. Then I threw it on the couch and shouted ‘fuck off’. Good work.

Actually no, tilting doesn’t really mean landscape but instead seesawing your phone left.

Actually no, tilting means:
move or cause to move into a sloping position.
Definition of sloping:
inclined from a horizontal or vertical line
This line is created by your phone and is used to determine orientation. Ergo when you tilt your phone far enough in one direction, the screen orientation will rotate.

I know this is gonna sound dumb, but you’re actually living my peace right now. I’m from a place where it rains all the time and I got everywhere either walking or taking the bike. However it was also the only time when I was able to be alone and peaceful. Just listen to my silly music or, better yet, listen to the pouring of the rain and let everything float away. Take in the smell of the rain. Feel everything washing away.
Maybe that can be another little sparkle in the downpour. You’re getting to live something that I’d love to be able to experience again.
