At first I thought the little website tag was a subtitle of what the ant was saying 😆
If you told them it was rain, would they even know the difference?
I assume they can feel the higher pressure and maybe the temperature aswell. The smell could also be an indicator that this is not the probably already experienced liquid from above.
Ants are resilient as hell. I doubt they care.
