What about the DOGE checks and the tariff rebate checks? Such a lying scumbag. Also isn’t this illegal?

Democrats should just say they’ll give out $6000 if they win instead. If anyone calls them out for lying, just say that the $5000 is a lie too, who cares.

    Cool, so that’s illegal.

Also money is fungible. How the fuck are you gonna enforce only spending in the US?

Finally, “sOcIaLiSm” is wrong, but just straight up giving someone Donald “Pedophile” Trump bucks isn’t, eh?

Redistributing government’s money straight to the populace? What a dastardly scheme! If only there was a name for it! Like, for example,

    𝐒𝐎𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐒𝐌

“comparing it to cash distributions when a company is successful”

Cool. I wouldn’t describe a $40 trillion in debt, expenses shooting sky high, a completely ruined ‘brand’, and all the signs of a crumbling economy successful. But hey, that’s just me… And reality.

If people were actually held accountable for lying, half the American economy would vanish, and 98% of elected officials would be in jail. They have no incentive to actually punish it, it’s way too profitable.

Less than half, but it wouldn’t be painless either. One of the upsides of an economy based largely on tangible goods instead of fairy dust and kayfabe is it doesn’t just vanish if people stop believing, but there’s nowhere left on earth that hasn’t been infected with the BS factories.

I’m more pessimistic than you. Z I’m not an expert but I’ve worked with a lot of people who think “spinning” or “exaggerating” to get out of trouble, or get what they want is perfectly okay.

I think people lying is normal everywhere not just the US. And I don’t think that is a sensational thing to say. Even excepting if the vast majority of lies might be considered small or petty, I think that only puts it closer to 50 percent but no where near 49

Like I said, there’s nowhere that lying isn’t perfectly normal, it’s just a matter of degrees. Some countries still make some attempt to ground their fundamentals in reality. Others don’t even make that much effort and go all in on the delusional. If you spend too much time in the fantasy land that is the US, it’s easy to get really pessimistic about finding something real, but other places are less “all vibes, all the time.”

Very rich man offers “FREE” money to every Americans Credit Card (the national debt).
Interesting fact: Ultra wealthy will not pick up that debt.

Everyone is a winner.! (unadulterated sarcasm)

Elon hasn’t got away with it yet. the legal system is just slow… the cases have just started over the last few weeks

and illegal doesn’t mean trump would personally be punished for it; it just means that the payments get clawed back
