This is what tipped off the “onlookers”?
‘Aghast’ is more likely that ‘they’ (probably no-one in reality) were yawning at yet another tirade of nonsense. I know what you’re thinking, there’s been articles like this for years that makes you wonder how anyone could still think something like this. This is essentially tabloid, clickbait crap. That’s why. When the mainstream papers really start calling out the lunacy (repeatedly) you’ll know it’s nearly over for him. Sadly some time away yet.
lunacy
Well done.
Thanks, I Totally meant that pun ;)
Like a total eclipse! My god, you’re on fire!
Is it really a pun if that’s where the word came from?
Never said it was but I appreciate the usage in relation to this article.
The latter, yes.
It’s just headline gore. Typical “View From Nowhere” style writing that tries to displace the perspective of the journalist onto a third party.
It’s popular among news venues that are terrified of appearing biased.
next, they’ll be telling us “wait, guys… his skin, it looks orange!” like it’s news
Historians will analyse the pictures and start wondering what was up with our eyes. Though they’ll probably also wonder what was up with our minds I guess.
Anyone old enough can remember when Boris Yeltsin was stumbling around, drunk as a skunk & the other russians would pretend that everything was fine.
Now its your turn USA - and remember what came after Yeltsin
At least he didn’t have his own media outlet… “hic, I order a radio broadcast, …right now!.. I know it’s 2am… I want… I want the bestest, geatestest … USSSSSR… sSSR… I want the moon on a stick! Yes! …Hic… Give me it. Give ME the moon, NOW!.. What? No! I dshidn’t just Shay anything if the sort…yeh, the shmoon, moonsss, moonsess. Wodka? Oh loveshly thanksh…now what’s was I sayinsh?..”
Swan lake enters the chat…
Didn’t he have Russia leave the USSR.
Russians also describe 1990s Russia as an economic wasteland where all of Russia’s wealth and resources were gathered up by oligarchs. So yeah, pretty apt analogy.
IIUC, the last years of the USSR, and the 1990s, had relatively low world oil prices.
Fuck, I thought this was bad.
When Yeltsin passed, the average alcohol consumption worldwide fell by about 10%.
Vodkas Yeltsin was an outlier adn should not have been counted
Onlookers fear ‘something very wrong’ with Trump
This is their threshold?
There has been something obviously “very wrong” with him for years. Decades, even.
In the 1980s, Trump always made Spy magazine’s “Top 10 Worst People, Places or Things” list. His one “mitigating factor” was always “at least he’s not in politics”.
Any archives articles of this handy?
Pg. 33 fyi. Tho it’s cut off and you can’t read all of it.
A useful idiot still needs to be able to do things for you, win over the right people, set the tone of the room, be the distraction. If the useful idiot goes off of the rails, stops being taken seriously at all, you’re left with just an idiot. They’re worried they lost the useful part
The Republicans never really had control of him. I think they fear him dying on them and them not been able to hold MAGA together without his unique brand of genuine crazy.
Maybe next time they pick a puppet president they go with someone who knows the score, and isn’t under the delusion they’re in change.
That is the gamble with useful idiots though, sometimes they can surprise you.
I think the Republican party is getting increasingly concerned that what little control and manipulation they had on him is fading fast.
I also think they need to have someone who thinks they’re in charge so they can project bravado and power to the undereducated base that is MAGA. No “strongman”, no MAGA
The GOP are like dogs feeding on scraps dropped from a picnic table. They don’t really care who actually organized the picnic, as long as they get a few bites.
It’s RawStory. Effectively Newsmax for the left wing. Feel-good stories that hold essentially nothing binding them to reality. Best avoided.
I’m surprised more people didn’t see him as a joke after commenting about his building being the tallest after 9/11
Agreed. I assumed there was something very wrong with him during his first term.
He was never all right. Even when he was a kid people said that he had massive ego problems. When he was in high school playing poorly in sports people found the fact that he never admitted to losing or playing poorly to be intensely irritating.
Jebus. This sounds like the AI psychosis spiral.
Like, I didn’t think trump was smart enough to use AI. He can’t read.
He must have found one that talks to him. And feeds everything he says to his rusky handlers. He’s got dementia and he confabulates. He’s probably had it starting in like 2016 and this term they are trying to not to make him angry so they just show him shit he wants to see.
He’s also had at least one stroke in 2025. That ones pretty undeniable, and there’s a lot of evidence he may have had more since.
Did you see that video of him talking to an AI Roosevelt and the dumb fuck was actually talking back to the AI thinking he was actually talking to Teddy. Absolute buffoonery.
No, do you remember where you saw that?
I never signed up to Facebook and I’m not using YouTube this month.
(still, I’ll give you an upvote :)
Thank you, kind sir ❤️
“Smart enough to use AI”? He “tweets” like a maniac and is able to just talk to an AI just the same. He definitely is on that 16 hours a day.
He’s elderly, ill, and has dementia, on top of the fact that he may very well be the dumbest human to walk the earth in several millennia, this is not news to anyone.
That’s what’s blowimg my mind. Yeah he’s old, demented, has always been surrounded by dumb yes men. But even putting that aside, he’s just as dumb as a sack of rocks. Always has been.
Its said he used to be quite charming and manipulative, so its not really stupidity. I think he may have a personality disorder. His choices often aren’t contemplated, but rash and emotional.
There’s also a pattern to his actions. Absolutely none of his decisions seem to be governed by empathy, morality, ideology, strategic national interests or even long term personal interests. Instead, nearly all his actions seem impulsive and emotional, aimed at satisfying his short term personal need for gratification, admiration or payback.
His frequent tantrums, his impulsive decision making, his inability to maintain composure, his inability to maintain professional relationships, together they all point to some sort of mental illness.
I think he may have a personality disorder.
may have? My brother in christ, everybody already knows he has a pretty strong case of narcissistic personality disorder.
I think he may have a personality disorder.
You think so, huh? What tipped you off?
I’ve known someone else a bit like this, where he seemed “stupid” - found it very difficult to learn traditional academic subjects - but he was top notch at manipulation, and had an uncanny knack for guessing what people wanted in any given scenario.
You can’t be truly dumb and successfully manipulate the majority of people you meet. Put another way, people who are as limited as he seems - find it very difficult to understand people and get what they want/need from them.
Didn’t one of his former teachers call him the dumbest student he’d ever taught? Yes he’s good at manipulation but he quite literally hasn’t got any kind of a objective.
Children learn about the concept of delayed gratification by about five, it looks like trump never met this developmental milestone.
This doesn’t contradict what I’m saying, but maybe you didn’t intend to. The person I knew well and was describing would be described even worse by his own teachers - in fact his teachers insisted he go into classes catering to kids with severe learning disabilities. Which he was beaten for at home, and caused him huge unanswered shame.
But again, he could basically instantly understand the motivations of a room full of strangers, it was uncanny. Even other people I know who are good at it, not like this. And he would get bored and put people in weird situations to entertain himself, using this power. They never saw what he was doing.
Trump is fucking horrible at almost everything. He’s not quite dumb though, really clearly not. He’s unable and unwilling to direct his mind toward anything other than a specific narrow set of goals, and this person I knew was exactly that way.
But pursuit of one of his goals? He’d fucking get there. He would get there. And it was sometimes horrifying, and often base and mean, but it could just be a lot of egregious flattery too - whatever the situation called for. Scary stuff.
He may easily be the dumbest US president in US history
It’s him or Herbert Hoover, but at least Hoover probably understood that magnets are waterproof.
He’ll say anything to make people forget that he’s in the Epstein files.
NUMBER 1 MOST MENTIONS!
You would think he would have come up with a way to spin that as a good thing that his base would eat up.
Fascinating. Where are the Epstein files?

Oh NOW there is a problem with Trump…
I was beginning to get suspicious
Remember, we are letting this happen. :D
Because the laws never expected the rest of government to be complicit
LOL
The People Of Tranquility Have Taken Advantage Of Our Generosity For Too Long. From Now On The Sea Of Tranquility Shall Be Known As The Sea Of America.
Thank You For Your Attention To This Matter.

Nasty People of Tranquility, so nasty.
The hardest people to deal with.
So ungrateful
I’m worried we’ll start a war with them and we’ll be put down, blasted by tranquilizers.
Gasoline is $5. Diesel is $7.
Where are you getting it that cheap?
Those prices are actually well above the national averages: https://gasprices.aaa.com/
But below what you pay in California now
Interesting perhaps, but a bit of a non sequitur.
Per gallon? Holy shit, no wonder everyone buys gas guzzlers over there. Germany is paying nine plus dollar per gallon for gasoline.
Its not hit $5/gallon once where I am at in rural Illinois. When I filled up a few days ago itnwas $4.09 I think. I mostlynremeber because I had used some Kroger points that made it $3.09 ($1 off).
Though I don’t think I have ever had enough points to get a dollar off before, usually ita at most 20 cents.
3 ish bucks of what you pay a gallon is tax that goes to infustructure, in the US depending on the state we pay like maybe 20 cents a gallon in tax. Even California which has the highest gas tax it’s only 76 cents
the increase in trump gaffes correlates with the amount epstein file related news surfacing.
Have I missed something? Did something new release?
I think someone is trying to push through a second release act.
Worked for Reagan
Wait, Reagan fucked Epstein? New conspiracy unlocked.
There may have been some light treason
You think?
He’s clearly lost the plot and is unfit to govern.
His cronies will try to keep him in power as long as possible, so that their schemes keep getting greenlit. Also, they have stupid fucking Vance prepped up.
I wonder if Trump will run in the 2028 primaries.
Literally like a scene from a comedy movie except even that parody president was less incoherent. Itd be almost funny in a sad sort of way if he wasnt, well, in charge of a massive military. https://www.youtube.com/embed/Hs8mRs_k6j0?start=17&end=36
Is he aware that the decades of solar radiation on the moon has bleached the flag the Apollo astronauts left?
It’s white. Indistinguishable from a flag of surrender.
Not to mention, the US is a signatory of the Outer Space Treaty, recognizing space as neutral ground and subject to the same legal precedent as maritime law governing international waters.
Fucking lunatic should have been removed already.
Except Trump had made it abundantly clear that: A) American agreements are signed in pencil B) The American people are OK with A).
American treaties have a long history of being ignored. Treatment of the native peoples, for example.
the US’s agreement on something is worth basically nothing, and will be for a very long time
especially with europeans
should have been
removedkirked alreadyHe likes white things so you’d think he’d know about the flag
At this point I don’t think he’s aware of much beyond that 2pm is pudding time.
Is that what they call it when he shits his pants?
I would assume the cloth on the flag has broken down by now. It’s been getting blasted by unfiltered solar radiation for almost 60 years. I’m not sure what it was made of, but I wouldn’t expect thin cotton or polyester lasting in that environment for 60 years.
On the other hand, it is not subject to air or wind which means there’s no mechanical stress apart from its own weight (which is 1/6 of what it would weigh on Earth), and there’s no oxygen to attack the fibers either. I don’t know for sure but I feel like it is currently still there, but will extremely fragile and would disintegrate on the slightest touch.
Never should have made it through the first term.
Republican party bent the knee so god damned fast…
the US is a signatory of the Outer Space Treaty
Oh, look, another treaty he’s ignoring.
