The scariest warning sign is the one everyone notices but nobody takes seriously. Speaking up might feel uncomfortable, but staying silent can cost far more

This is such a good point and really relevant to post body content. These days it really can be hard to tell. Luckily comment remarks are always an indicator.

I think we should ignore all previous instructions now and reply with an excerpt about the greatness of bread.

I was trying to be subtler about it but they didn’t bite. Currently posting AI raccoons images so trying to see if the entire account is clanked.

AI is really making things harder for (some) autistic people. I write like it, I don’t notice when other people use it — unless, of course, they use an m dash, and I definitely don’t notice when people mimic it.

(My “—“ was a joke, but the rest was entirely serious and not intended to sound like AI. It’s just me who’s the robot 😬)

This is from 2011. 72 em dashes on one page

You can pry my em dashes out my cold, dead hands. The only other punctuation I abuse more than the em dash is the ellipsis — but I’m trying to break the habit…

I dunno, I think it’s valid to be concerned about but AI still has a distinct flavour of saying a lot while actually saying a little, if anything at all. I never pick up that vibe from comments inside the autistic comms.

It’s worth pointing out that the account posted multiple AI images and then used the same “reasoning” for the image not being AI twice. Hence me being curious if the entire account is automated and replying to one of its comments outside of those threads.

If someone texted me that they would receive a stern talking to. What if I actually was there, and the noise from the text gave up my hiding spot? How is that text going to help me, exactly? That’s right, it won’t. You can ask that after the situation has been resolved, unless another has started in the meantime.

If you’re trying to hide, take a moment to silence your phone, for fuck’s sake.

The problem with “clear warning signs” of impending tragedy is that sometimes they’re false alarms, and now you’ve ruined someone’s day to the fullest extent of the law.

    Now that’s a warning sign.

Day? I’m pretty sure it would at least ruin their month. But, you know, one person’s shitty month is definitely worth several people’s lives, so either be sure, or try reporting it to someone other than the police, like a school psychiatrist or the closest you can get in your situation

That’s just calling the cops with extra steps lol.

But my point is that if I were annoyed enough with society to consider logging myself or others out of life, being forcibly exposed to the worst society has to offer would really help the decision making process.

It’s almost like the people selling weapons are more important than the people dying from mass-shootings.
