challenge accepted! i’ve shifted the color temperature (until whites/greys are actually white/gray, to cancel out the reddish tint caused by the lighting). the lightest parts of the sweater are #4f3945, the darkest more like #281622, and the average over a fairly large area is #3e2a35. any of those closer to what you’re looking for?
I appreciate your help but extracting the value does not work. Believe me i create digital art, i have tried.
This hexcode looks too red. The actual color, i believed, is an optical illusion that requires a certain lighting/shading.

Those are really nice shades of purple…
But on their own, none of them read as the same color.
I think it might be because this purple is a non-spectral color.
According to some authors, purple does not have its own wavelength off light. -According to wikipedia
Apparently there is no real scientific consensus on what color purple really is and that alone is wild.
