So yeah, antifascism is now terrorism according to the US gov.
Their website and mailing server has been taken down in Europe, too now.
Are they still willing to kiss his ass, or does the USA have the power to do that globally?
Only yesterday most DNS services allowed it (OpenNIC, NextDNS, and the big ones).
Now they all return this:

Check out these links, it’s bad:

One can log a complaint here but all the form links resolve to my.site.com. Which is invalid.
Question
Where (in Europe or globally) can I log a complaint resp. protest?
What is autistici.org
It’s the Italian volunteer technology collective Autistici/Inventati. Has been around for decades.
There’s been some reports on the fediverse during the past days, and personally I’ve been using them for years. Among other things they provide free email accounts for people who ask.

And of course their own blog post about it:

edit1:
Since their registrar is Gandi, I think it makes sense to log a complaint with them even if they aren’t ultimately responsible:

Isn’t it about time we create a replacement for ICANN? Or at least an alternative DNS Authority?
OpenNIC also blocks autistici.org.
Yeah, it’s bad.
I was told these services get lists from ICANN without checking them. Although the wikipedia article suggests OpenNIC has its own, different root?
I do hope manual intervention is possble, otherwise Trump has the whole WWW by the balls.
OpenNIC also blocks autistici.org.
Yeah, it’s bad.
Hmmm then they are not as independent as one would think of them. Do we know who is funding opennic?
Yeah because they refer to the same ICANN root servers for the ICANN root domains. The point of an alternative DNS root is that they can provide their own specific top-level domains, so sites that are targeted by this kind of censorship can register a domain in an OpenNIC managed TLD and then they are only subject to moderation by OpenNIC instead of ICANN.
I’m starting to realize that it is time for that.
It seems like they have a mirror of their website here.
Indeed. It still works, even the webmail.
What we always did.

So how do you get to their website without DNS? Does anyone remember the IP? Do they have a .onion URL?
Don’t remember neither numerical IP nor .onion. Would be good to know.
But neither would help very much because I cannot use my (secondary) mail account anymore. This has been very useful in the past - well, over 10 years.
So yeah, antifascism is now terrorism according to the US gov.
I think if you dig a little deeper you will find the issue is not quite so black-and-white.
being placed on the terrorist organizations list along daesh and alqaeda looks pretty black and white to me. There should be a wide spectrum including “organization whose activities/(h)activism/humanitarian support indirectly happens to help terrorist group, along lots of other causes”.
Feel free to elaborate.
Go on then. Tell us.
The government is not treating any and all representations of “antifascism” as terrorism now, they are targeting this one single website because there is evidence that they knowingly provide services to some existing groups that were already deemed terrorists.
If there’s any debate about whether or not those groups should have been deemed terrorists in the first place, that’s a different issue altogether as far as enforcing the law is concerned.
there is evidence

No they literally said antifa was terrorism. It is not just this one time.
