Nah, those cameras come with foam on the lens. Nothing to see here.
I see what you did there. Mostly because I don’t have foam on my glasses.
Nah, we had a movie night when this happened.
We were all there
You definitely shouldn’t cover them with plastic bags.
Definitely don’t point high-powered green lasers at the optical element.
laser pointers require direct line of sight, and if you can destroy a camera sensor with a laser it almost certainly isn’t portable. so maybe don’t try, so you reduce the risk of jail time.
A laser strong enough to disable it is certainly portable.
If you’re talking about vaporizing it, then maybe.
To get a guaranteed kill you’d probably need a dozen watts. I don’t know of any laser pointers with that amount of power. 5W is doable but wouldn’t guarantee a kill.
Edit: nevermind, found some blue laser pointers with that kind of output. Even a 25W pointer. I haven’t looked at laser pointers in over a decade so I was expecting much lower values. Guess I should’ve looked them up first.
Take a picture of the empty street and then prop it up in front of the camera sensor. I’ve always wanted to see if this actually works.
An A-Team and McGyver classic
They saw it on a Motley Crue video…
would spray paints also work?
Hell, I bet hair spray would be enough. Anything to fog the lens.
You need something harder to wash.
Something with a solvent or acid to etch the glass of the lens.
I was at lowes the other day and saw these cheap tiny hand “power drills” that recharge using USB-C. They were like $12, but they didn’t look like they could do a whole lot. They’d probably struggle with wood, but they could probably glide right through a plastic clamshell and mangle some electronics in 2 seconds. I don’t know how that would be useful to me, but at that price point I could just throw it away if I didn’t want it anymore. I could buy 20 of them and let my friends throw them away for me.
Anyway I was just looking for some new blinds at lowes, I’m big into home improvement. I don’t know why I’m rambling about these cheap drills, I’m not even sure what message board I’m on. This place is about home improvement right?
Just boys being boys
Remove the extra bits and add a servo motor.

There are about 200 species of wasps. You’ve heard of paper wasps, this must’ve been foam wasps.
They were dressed in navy blue with badges, guns and cuffs. The call was coming from inside the dystopia.
you can help us by giving us all the location of the flock and axon cameras.
Not that I imagine anyone is really inclined to help the police with their inquiries but given the fact that the police don’t have any information I’m not sure how the public are going to help.
Here’s a crime scene there are no apparent witnesses and no fingerprint evidence, please help.
What exactly did they expect to happen here? Even if somebody did come forward and point the finger of blame st someone, there’s no actual evidence you could go to court with.
You could turn in the friend you have that showed you pics of them doing it perhaps.
Since when did the US police need actual evidence to harass people?
They are waiting for a local KKK member to id a black or now brown person…
naw, they didn’t do it. they were with me eating ice cream.
can confirm, it was the squirrels in the area, those lil fuckers are smart af

Everyone knows squirrels run the world, don’t fuck with squirrels
How could the cameras ID them? I thought they only read license plates? /s
Doesn’t matter, everyone was at my house playing Twilight Imperium.
ah fuck they got us run
So what have we learned in this “all surveillance, all the time!” world? You sneak up on things from behind. That sticky, hard to remove, expanding foam is not that expensive and is available everywhere now that winter is on it’s way.
Whoever they allegedly are, I saw them elsewhere at the time of the incident.
