These ones are older than sharks.
No, not the ones on the map, the ones under them.
They’re even older than tree’s, they’re ancient AF.
Further, the reason there’s so much coal in that Appalachians is because the trees that did finally come to existence, still didn’t have proper decomposers, so the carbon just stayed there.
And for those that want to bring up the coal in england, the Appalachians technically stretch up thru Canada and Greenland and come down into the British isles.
