The city of Salem, Oregon is in a state of emergency over it’s water availability and a data center was being proposed which would use up all of the water and some of the neighboring water districts. The guillotine was as much for the CEOs as it was for the public officials.

A shocking amount of communities across America have been found to be working in secret with data centers to build one in the area and give very generous permits for water and electricity usage. It wouldn’t be surprising to have communities start revolting against local municipalities to stop secret arbitration and make the people responsible for data centers in the community be the public official they are.

It’s hard to feel anything but disgust knowing how far garbage can proliferate into communities. I guess the silver lining to all of this is at least we can see it in real time and be more proactive? Humans suck.

I guess the silver lining to all of this is

        the blade of the guillotine.
