Being pushed to a aggravated state sucks especially when overwhelmed. If you can find any time to centre yourself it can help, some sound cancelling of some kind tends to benefit me or to shut down some sensory input.

I’ve been at my current job a year. Very much proven myself. No callouts, I’m always early. I am always down to work late and help out my coworkers on their routes. The other day I was having some tummy trouble and simply told him I was going to bang out my work and head out early because I wasn’t feeling too hot, without giving any details. I understand that he deals with bullshit all the time. But I am not thw guy. One of your best tells you he needs to knock off a little early, after finishing his work for the day, you should say alright man have a good one! Anyway I told him I’d really prefer to go home and blow up my own toilet if it was all the same to him. Apparently that was enough.
