Hasan argues that no people are monolithic, and the scapegoating of Jews is a common tactic. That people understand that when Tucker Carlson says America has “demographic concerns”, that is white supremacy.

Finkelstein has the brain disease that professors get where they become outlandishly contrarian and also harp on about cancel culture. It’s kind of tragic he’s become like this in the past decade or so because his earlier scholarship on Palestine is really good. I think with him he’s a guy who simply doesn’t go on the internet much and yet he’s always interacting with younger people and internet figures so he’s fabricated a whole bunch of nonsense in his head
