    Fuck the US for not harmonizing this law for the benefit of their consumers

      Unfortunately we just don’t do that. In Europe they call them consumer protections. Here we call them “regulations” and complain endlessly about how they hurt business

        Uh, no. There’s some small minority of companies that complain that regulations hurt businesses.

        But the vast majority of people want regulations.

          Your father didn’t spend much time screaming at Fox News growing up, I take it. Lol.

          That’s like saying there is a “small minority” of Americans who were willing to vote for a known rapist, pedophile, and convicted felon. It’s a big enough group.

          Incorrect. Capitalist Propaganda works amazingly well. My countrymen, one of the poorest in our region, still complain far more about how “ease of doing business” is absent because of regulations than acknowledge how important Consumer protection is.

          Its not even their fault. Its just how media constantly frames it. The same media bought out by capitalists.
