Ishii’s research data and if I recall correctly his own personal consultation was used by the US in their germ warfare against Korea as well. This is one of those things I looked super deep into in high school and it is fucking twisted awful shit.
Like “experiments” done during the Holocaust, the data ended up being worthless because it was just an excuse to torture people. Yeah, no shit, people experience pain when you freeze their limbs and shatter them. The experiments were poorly conducted, such as no control groups or methodology with missing steps.
About the only useful thing was the effects of chemical and biological weapons. And again, it was mostly useless because it was like “Yeah, people die if they’re exposed to weaponized anthrax.”
Distribution methods were the main intel. Dropping aide covered in infected fleas etc. It was less about that diseases kill people but how yo introduce it to people efficiently. The rest was useless cruelty. Some was useful at creating more widespread cruelty later.
