I dislike media that conflates vampirism with a zombie bite, where anyone bit by a vampire becomes one. The turning is usually much more deliberate, and not just from being a snack once.

Anime rules and Buffy rules, as well as old school Dracula/ rules are like this, I’m pretty sure. The vampire only sires deliberately.
