Hello!
Cowbee and I wanted to read some of the books on Comrade’s Library, and we ended up deciding to make a reading group for anybody else that might be interested. We are looking at This Soviet World by Anna Louise Strong as the first book. Edit: I was just informed that there is an audiobook by dessalines.

What’s the length of the book?
edit: Paperback is 170 pages, so not bad.
16 chapters long. With around 3500-4500 words in each chapter.

so I’ll give it a shot
Oh, there’s an audiobook by Dessalines on YouTube. That makes it much easier for me. I’m in!
I’d like to join the reading group as well, hoping to be able to stick with it.
Seconded. My personal life is on stop-go.
I took part in previous reading group on here and lost interst after a few weeks and felt bad every week that my backlog grew
I think I’ll try again thoI’ll say, This Soviet World is quite an easy read. And if you lose interest, that’s the way it is.
