Some of this will be due to new features in the latest version but I think most of it is because previously PieFed was not accurately keeping track of user activity. Now that it is, the numbers are bigger.

People have a lot of different opinions on that. IMO Interstellar has the most PieFed-specific features.

Connect is the only mobile app AFAIK that supports the full 1.7 API Spec including Follows.
