Yeah but I’m not sure that’s the exact flavor of fasch we’re dealing with. I think there’s an emerging American futurism that combines the libininally dehumanizing death drive worshipping tech fetishism of Italian futurism (which could also be called ‘coke fueled surrealist dudes rock “promise to kill myself” fascism’, the one where you ask the edgy leftist artist who wants to kill a fascist to design a suicidal jackass stunt for you) with the hollow rehearsal of social justice shibboleths and deep seated thin skinned childish unparsed fear and denial of silicon valley culture and just covers its ears and asks Grok™ to tell it a bedtime story instead of feeling cognitive dissonance, escaping its fear of death with an all consuming ignorance and embracing death by millimeters until they’re the stupid-borg.
