Wanted a design here for the Companion Cube. One of them is close, and it would be so appropriate.
And now my head canon includes the companion cube and GladOS being what eventually evolves into the Borg.
Cubes make the most sense, they’re easy to add onto, unlike a sphere, and easy to navigate within.
Top right looks a little bit like the Cylon mothership from Battlestar Galactica.
Bit from Tron must’ve been assimilated in the Collective’s infancy.
