I am tired of feeling stuck with no way of doing anything because I live in the middle of nowhere and I have to move out of this house. I just play my games and watch anime because actually committing with moving out of my house is too impractical and scary (also there are no homeless shelters in my area).
Edit: Turns out a bus route is relatively close, so I can take a bus to a city (probably), but what place should I go to? A homeless shelter?
Have you considered reporting their emotional abuse to authorities?

I am a grown adult, living for free in their home. I am doing my best to quietly save money, move out, and cut contact, even if temporarily. It’s a very complex relationship and living situation but my parents are troubled, but good people, and I still love them. Thank you for your concern.

Yes, I do live in America (in Florida, unfortunately), and I really hate how the Supreme Court kind of ruined homeless people sleeping outdoors (read up on it), so sleeping outside is not an option. What sort of plan do you have in mind? I think you should tell your plan first.
