He executed more people than any president of the 20th century. FDR had a record… But he was a 3 term president and half his executions were German saboteurs during ww2. Trump almost beat his record in 6 months… And I should mention that post 1963 until 2020 the US federally only executed 3 people. They were under Bush, and one of them was Timothy McVeigh.
