You are engaging with me now and not respecting women’s wishes. You are forcing yourself on us. You are scolding us and calling us dramatic.

What does it do for you to ignore women’s explicit requests? Does it give you a thrill to push past our boundaries and ignore what we want? Does it make you feel more manly to ignore women’s requests and do what you want instead?

The fact that he said “girls like you people” when asked politely to leave a space for women is all you need to know.

Bro is not one of the good ones. He gets the “misogynist whines misandry” tag!

But he has a girlfriend! He can’t be a misogynist if he’s dating a girl

I can’t stand being referred to as a girl. I’m a grown ass woman and have been for quite some time lol

🤣 right! I don’t mind if my lady friends refer to me as a girl in a phrase like girl’s night or something, but even then we typically use lady instead.

I just love when these types of dudes get called out for misogyny and whine misandry, they show their true colors pretty fucking quick lol

Haha yes! “Girl” coming from a fellow woman is a little different imo.

I just had a pretty extensive talk with my kiddo about slurs and how some slurs have been reclaimed by the people the slur is targeting, etc. (bitch specifically was the word we were using as an example). This reminds me of that a little. “Girl” isn’t quite a slur of course, but yeah language choice is important and can be complicated!

Men who use “girl” like this make it clear they’re using it as a put down.

Exactly! And that’s why he has a “misogynist whines misandry” tag now.

              Also, you’re a badass mom!

Aw thanks! I try really hard haha. He’s been allowed to use some cuss words (appropriately and not at people) for a little while and it was just time to dive into the differences between cuss words and slurs. I feel weird having to have rules around language sometimes, but children don’t know what they don’t know!
