Oh man, if only there was some kind of canvas that takes all kinds of mediums that you can use manually and depend on.
A friend of mine does oil paintings, mostly for fun but she’s good enough to actually sell something too.
She made a physical oil painting on canvas, that looks just like a sloppy LLM pic of two guys sitting at a bar having a beer. Extra fingers, weird plastic skin, leaning through the tap. Its SO well done, and yet I hate it so much.
The worst thing is when she told me “look, I made LLM art”.
Art should evoke feelings. Disgust is a feeling. Tell her she’s a great artist.

Sadly I cant depend on my secondary canvas of choice, I have a hard time getting that special “slop” feeling. I guess it could be a lack of skill, but as an ai artist skill should never be a factor in creation of huge amount of trash “art”
Absolutely wild that the one guy showed his prompt and GPT correctly understood him to mean “steal the cover to ABBEY ROAD” even though he never said it directly
