So I bought a pipe to clinch but I didn’t like the plastic so I made a few mods.

The bowl is some cheap hardwood (guessing Oak) but so thickly coated in a Cherry finish that I don’t know. And the mouthpiece I use is the vase side of a hooka hose which Im pretty sure is Birch, also with a Cherry finish that I’ve chipped off where I chew it… threw some leather cord around it where the ring used to be and this is my go to pondering and writing fidget.

I did season it with a short smoke (I don’t care for the taste or effects of tabbaco but love the smell of old ash and oil). But otherwise this is fairly stock woods.

be careful, pipe smoke causes cancer in the mouth too and the nicotine in it is also addicting. many ppl accidentally become addicted underestimating it. it’s a bitch to quit and many end up just giving up and switching to cheaper stuff. also, it may numb your taste buds for a few days, depending on how you smoke the pipe

I’m aware. Hence why I literally seasoned it with a smoke and then gave away the bag of tabbaco. Like I’ve been addicted to smoking before (namely clove cigarettes in collage. But also a short while with cigars) so I’m cautious to even pick this up. But I live in an area where finding good tobacco is hard. Like have to mule it in, levels of not woth it.
