It’s so messed up how complicit we all are. So many of us here in Ireland thought we were “decent people” until we found out how entwined our interests are with Israel, and that the government won’t budge, because they don’t expect to be punished by the electorate.

Oh boy oh boy, if they think they’re still going to get diplomatic cover from Australia after killing an AFP investigation team, they’re delusional. The govt might want to hush it up, but the population would scream about it, quite rightly, until any politician who ignores it loses votes they could easily have kept.
Australia may be racist enough to overlook killing foreign people, but killing Australians? Mate. That’s fucked.
