I think there’s a chance it could become very popular if we separate ourselves from the g*mer attitudes of the SomethingAwful-spawned Goonstation and the 4chan-spawned tgstation. There does not seem to be many populated or known servers that exist that do that.
This is a game that looked very interesting to me when I heard of it but never got around to playing due to g*mers. I’d be down to give it a shot in a server with decent people if my complete lack of experience won’t be an issue.

What is a space station 13

SS14 is enjoyable, it was missing a couple features like surgery, cyborgs, the AI role, library stuff, and probably some other things I’m forgetting when I last played a few months ago.

Yes! I think you can even play as a custom species if you want (if we decide to use code from the furry servers).
it might be hard to get enough people who know how to run infrastructure but i’d definitely like to try
I’ve maintained an SS13 codebase and server before. A couple more people and we could probably even get development of custom stuff going.
