Those use pretty powerful broadcasting equipment and if you’re putting out a pirate broadcast, you’re gonna want it even more powerful to make sure it takes over whatever frequency you’re broadcasting at. It would also probably be a good idea to be mobile so you’re not tracked down by the FCC.
The internet is much cheaper and easier to get an audience with. That’s why there are way more small creators on YouTube and TikTok than local TV stations.
Well your probably right. But what about iphones and smaller cheaper tech nowadays. Couldn’t you do like a Pirate Broadcast?
