Practice reacting to things that I imagine people might say to me.

Facial expressions and body language are hard to remember to do.

I eat the same meal about 4 days of the week. It’s easy to make, cheap, healthy(ish) and I don’t get tired of it.

        I do:

        • 100g white rice
        • 80g red lentils
        • 50g soy granulate
        • half a jar of pesto
        • some oil some soy sauce some chicken spice mix

Soak the dry soy granulate. Boil rice and red lentils.

Fry the soaked granulate in a tablespoon of oil until gold-brown. Turn off the heat, add a tablespoon of soy-sauce, stir quickly it will evaporate fast. Add chicken slice mix maybe some pepper.

Add the granulate to the rice and lentils, add pesto.

The stuff has pretty good macros. You probably need smaller portions, just adjust the 3 bulk ingredients until it fits your calories.

Edit: I usually prepare and heat everything while the granulate soakes. It just needs like 10min

Edit2: If you need more to fill your stomach, fry frozen veggies. I just do that on a cut, otherwise its too much.

Pan fried vegan “meat” balls. 100gr risotto rice. Boiled brussel sprouts. Too much teriyaki sauce.

If I’m in the mood for a change, I substitute the “meat” balls for chicken, or cut the brussel sprouts in half and fry them cut side down in the pan.

I talk to myself when I am thinking, especially if what I am thinking about relates to emotional processing. I have never recorded myself doing this, but I don’t think I vocalise complete sentences. While I’m processing, I repeat a contextually relevant word or phrase over and over again, even if I think I’ve moved past it in my head.

I find myself doing this in public sometimes (whoops), but with silent mouth movements. Earphones help me avoid looking dodgy or like I’m hallucinating.

For me its the clothing I choose to wear or not brushing my hair every day. I have to have a reason to do things. Mostly I just try to do whats needed each day and enjoy the simplet things. I would like to think most people could appreciate that. Still so many people are wasteful and do not seem to realy get long time and area scales.

Get trapped in the bath, bed, couch because I’ve got laundry, pots, shopping to do.

Self medicate with near a gallon of tea. I’ll drink coffee too, but I prefer the ‘high’ tea gives. I’m sure there’s some actual science, but it all sounds woo like to me.

Oops, I’m not autistic, didn’t see the comm. My bad. Feature request: be able to mark a comm [special interest] and throw up a “you’re posting/commenting to a [special interest] comm are you sure you want to do that?”

There’s a lesson there though: the checks don’t help, it’s your general level of alertness that makes the difference.

Not that being aware of that will in any way convince your brain to stop checking.

Well, that’s just normal right? I mean, how are you supposed to relax when there is a fricking Sword of Damocles hanging over your head!? That’s not abnormal behaviour, right guys? Everyone is like that, right? No? They just don’t think about it and do the thing when the time comes? Man it must be nice…

If for some reason I get one of my hands wet I then need to get the other one wet aswell. I dislike asymmetries like this. Same with temperatures, I one hand or foot is colder than the other I need to equalise them.

I do the wet hand thing too. I think it must be a nervous system thing, if one hand gets wet and the other stays dry, the dry hand starts to feel hot rather than the wet one feeling cold. Can’t have that.

I have organised sets of things that go together for different tasks.

If I’m headed out the door I’ll notice if the set of things I have with me isn’t right, rather than missing something in particular, and it can take me a while to work out what’s wrong.

Having the same or at least as close as possible day to day routine and actually enjoying and thriving in it. Added benefit, others look at me like I’m just highly disciplined to put up with it.

As I’ve understood most NTs seem to go insane if they already have to eat the same food for more than a few times in row, obviously depending. Much less having to follow same day to day routine for any extended period of time.
