    Proponents of it seem to use the same logic as was used to justify racial segregation in the states so uhh probably not

    and no offense to you op i know u and recognize u and i think a lot of ppl are a bit willy nilly with throwing around ‘ahh fed’ nowadays to genuine questions, but also like, this is not a serious ideology that is actually relevant in any capacity in terms of it succeeding at any point. there are people that express they want it on grounds that they’re transphobes and this is nice language to dress it up but really who gives a fuck.

    prelim edit to add: okay yeah there’s that one samsung korea thing about like 3e? 4e? whatever that’s sort of like this but eh. i do not bet on the idea that the whole world will successfully install Large Scale Gender Segregation as the proponents of it envision (i mean we have some nowadays in terms of like. i guess bathrooms, sports)

      okay nvm okay because if we’re also talking about gender separatism as in sports, day to day affairs like bathrooms, etc., i really am not the smartest but there’s some diamat transfeminists i’ve seen that talk about how dimorphism in human sex is actually relatively low to other species and as such advocate against it in most spaces including sports or other stuff. idk, don’t really take my word for it, but that’s a basic idea i want to throw in because if we’re not just referring to the specialized terfy sentiment of Separate All Males From Females NOW!!! and are referring to broad gender separatism then that is a topic probably worth some close analysis, it’s so entrenched in all our lives.
