Yes, this is bad. Does it absolve Russia’s war of aggression or turn Putin’s pariah state into something worth defending? Absolutely not

I think you should do more to ask yourself why western media is silent on this. You don’t have to agree with everything Russia does, but you owe it to yourself to know why apparently this is kept from us.

Whataboutism in response to an Israeli-style terror bombing on a school full of children, no different from saying “But the Iran regime” in response to the US massacre of all those schoolgirls. Morally and politically bankrupt, trying first and foremost to uphold a collapsing party line in the face of overwhelming reality. These are your heroes.

You may not think a country is “worth defending”, but inevitably the people who live actual lives there and don’t want their kids killed by nazis will feel differently.

Oh look, another clueless lib who thinks that the state that entered an ongoing civil war and put a stop to ethnic cleansing being perpetrated by literal neonazis is the one that needs to be “absolved” when those neonazis unsurprisingly mass murdered students. Yeah, it’s Russia that isn’t “worth defending” rather it’s the poor smol bean war criminal nazis backed by the world hegemon that should be defended against that big meanie Putin. Your head is so stuffed with propaganda it’s leaking out your ears and getting all over your keyboard as you try to downplay atrocity.

      It’s from RT.

Per the Wikipedia article on RT: RT has regularly been described as a major propaganda outlet for the Russian government and its foreign policy. Academics, fact-checkers, and news reporters (including some current and former RT reporters) have identified RT as a purveyor of disinformation and conspiracy theories. UK media regulator Ofcom has repeatedly found RT to have breached its rules on impartiality, including multiple instances in which RT broadcast “materially misleading” content.

In 2012, RT’s editor-in-chief Margarita Simonyan compared the channel to the Russian Ministry of Defence. Referring to the Russo-Georgian War, she stated that it was “waging an information war, and with the entire Western world”. In September 2017, RT America was ordered to register as a foreign agent with the United States Department of Justice under the Foreign Agents Registration Act.

When faced with outside information, liberals always make sure to fall back to the liberal Holy Scripture

Right because wikipedia isn’t going to have any bias whatsoever, and itself could never be a source of propaganda, no! 🙄

The New York Times, as one example, is orders of magnitude worse than RT when it comes to being a propaganda mouthpiece, yet funny how we aren’t going to be reading about that on wikipedia. Something also tells me that you aren’t going to be posting a comment reminding everyone of that fact every time there’s another post from the endless stream of racist “Asiatic Horde” pieces by mainstream western media. But you’ve got to make sure you comment to remind everyone about RT though! Especially when Ukraine commits yet another atrocity, you gotta get under that, discredit and downplay it, make it seem like Ukraine’s war crimes are just more “Russian disinformation.”
