    It sucks to be an outcast. It sucks even more that morality, consideration of social consequences and compassion are so unusual.

    I think people should be made more aware of the downsides of using LLMs, but who is going to do that? Most people I experience (in and outside of work) are oblivious and simply see a super new“tool” to use. I met with a storage provider last week for work and he was gaga over AI. Ug.

    Being anti-AI makes one an outcast? Come visit the Fediverse or Reddit bubbles and say a few things favorable to AI and see how that goes.

    Jorge Gutierrez just backed out of making a TV series using AI because of threats against his wife and child. Spare me the victim narrative.
